In early 1900, my great-grandfather Léon Tribaut operated a few plots of vines and cultivated his vegetable garden to sell his vegetables at the Market of Epernay every Saturday.

In the 1930s, his son Roger become a vineyard manager in Dizy and Epernay for the Lanson champagne house, where he keeps his function until his retirement in 1965.
During all these years, he exploited the family vineyard handed down by his father and expanded it by buying plots on the hillsides of Romery.

Based on our family experience, I decided in 2015 to install a winery specially dedicated to the barrel winemaking that my grandfather Roger once exercised to find this complexity and authenticity that seems more the years pass escape us.
